RTA was founded in 2010 by Harvey Brodsky. Harvey spent nearly three decades as the driving force and public face of the Tire Retread Information Bureau. Today, as the Retread Tire Association’s managing director, he continues to bring unparalleled knowledge, experience and passion to the industry.
Harvey is known worldwide in the tire industry as retreading’s go-to guy. Company owners, wholesalers, retailers, organizations and journalists have experienced his spirited and thoughtful promotion of retreading and proper tire repairing. He has addressed tire groups in U.S., Canada, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, China, England, Germany, Italy, Scotland and India.
