The MASTER - RETREADER Newsletter

Yesterday we received a surprise package from my very good friend and RTA member, Dave Aldrich, who is also a very good friend of retreading. Many of you old timers may remember Dave and all the valuable contributions he made to the retread industry.

The package contained a treasure trove of old MASTER RETREADER newsletters going back to early1969. They contain a wealth of articles and photos and make for very interesting reading, especially if you are of a "certain age" and have been around the retreading industry for years. The newsletters were published monthly by the TIRE RETREADING INSTITUTE, Washington, DC.

We will keep the newsletters in our archives but we also want to share them with any of RTA members - and others even if you are not members of the Retread Tire Association - with one stipulation that if you wish to borrow a few copies, you promise to return them after you have finished reading them.

If you are interested in receiving the loan of six copies please send your full name and mailing address to info@retreadtire.org and we will send them pronto. But you have to promise, "Scouts Honor," to return them in a reasonable amount of time so that others can have the opportunity to go back in time by enjoying them, as we know you will.
