RTA will be in New Orleans at the
North American Tire & Retread Expo (NATRE)

...and we want to talk to you!

We will be at the North American Tire & Retread Expo from April 19-21 at the New Orleans Convention Center and we'd like to hear from you!

Once again we are returning to one of the best Tire Industry shows in the country and we'd like to talk to you, our members and friends in the tire, rubber and retread and repair industries.

We are at booth 540 near the back of the Hall so please stop and say hello to RTA Managing Director Jeffrey Parks and his assistant Emily.

Harvey Brodsky is not able to travel at this time, but he will be there in spirit. Harvey will be available, by telephone and in touch with us while we are there.

We work constantly to remain your retread and tire repair association, and we want to talk to you about your needs and how we can help.

Exciting Additions to NATRE Program

David Zielasko, the Publisher and Editorial Director of Tire Business, as well as a Vice President of Crain Communications, will be presenting, "Competing in Tires in an Online World, Tire Industry-10 Years of Change."  His presentation will discuss how changes in technology have led to fundamental changes in business that cannot be ignored if a company wants to continue growing.  

Zielasko is a frequent speaker at industry associations and events.  Having covered the rubber and tire industries for over 30 years, he has an insightful perspective on changes and trends that impact manufacturing and sales.

Panel Additions
In addition to David Zielasko, both The Safety Panel and The Retread Panel have added speakers. 

Russell Devens, the Director of Safety & Risk Management for McCarthy Tire, will bring a commercial tire company's perspective to The Safety Panel, moderated by Peggy Fisher, President of TireStamp.  Devens joins Randy Haas, Safety Director from T.O. Haas, Tom Herrmann, Assistant Director of Continuous Improvement, Dunn Tire and OSHA Compliance Assistance Specialist Wilfred Hebert to discuss this important issue.

David Stevens, Managing Director of TRIB, has added Doug Conley, Vice President & General Manager of Shamrock Marketing to round out the discussion on the Retreading Panel. 

Conley joins other retread industry veterans Tim Bevier (Tech International), Darin Weber (Transworld Casing Supply), Rick Majewski (Wilson County Tire & Retreading), and Bill Waerzeggers (Pomp's Tire).
