OBO Tyres importer Techking Tires in Europe
Ultimate green tire concept on European market

Hardenberg, 9th of January 2015:.

After more than 50 years only having retreaded large worn tires OBO Tyres  launches this January 2015 a new tire concept on the European market. New tires of the Chinese brand Techking Tires will be sold including a second life concept.

Deposit

"The second life concept, as only OBO Tires can provide this, contains 3 unique elements with no equals done by any supplier in Europe", states CEO Herman Hutten. "When selling a Techking tire the buyer receives 3 important extras." "These are 1.) 5 year warranty on the new tire by OBO Tyres, 2.) a casing buy-back guarantee, and 3.) a quality tire fit for retreading and therefore very durable. " The buy-back guarantee can be seen as a kind of deposit; After using the tire you hand in the worn tire and you receive a guaranteed amount of money or you can have your tire retreaded and save money that way. Durability made profitable. That is the new trend.

For both tire manufacturers it is a welcome addition to an already existing range. "We chose the Chinese brand Techking Tires after a year and a half of intensive testing. We state that this brand delivers high-quality radial tires that can be retreaded after fulfilling its first life." Hutten continues. "The Techking tires matches the quality we are used to in Europe"

New & Retreaded

The tire retreader saw, that although the industrial tire market show a slight increase, the supply of worn tires (casings) declined. Due to the great offer of Chinese tires, which often are not fit for retreading, only European casings remained to be eligible for a second life. To keep servicing the market and with the intention to supply itself with a good level of casings in the future, OBO Tyres created the second life concept. With Techking Tires OBO Tyres has found  a worthy quality partner in its sustainability philosophy.

Employment

With the new activities on the tire market OBO Tyres expects a growth in personnel. Particularly in the departments of sales and logistics there will be an extend in near future and in time, there will also be an increase in the production.

OBO Tyres has over fifty years of experience in retreading and repairing tires for special purposes. In its own factory, existing, approved casings are retreaded  with a choice of dozens of different treads  that fully complies with the nature of the users' working conditions. They retread tires for slow-moving traffic for agricultural, lawn, earthmoving and industrial applications.
