RTA NEWS YOU CAN USE
July 14, 2014

RTA RECEIVED THE FOLLOWING EMAIL TODAY FROM BRIAN RIGNEY, GENERAL MANAGER OF DILL AIR CONTROLS AND WE FOUND IT TO BE VERY WORTHWHILE AND WE THINK YOU WILL, TOO. IT IS WELL WORTH READING!

I am writing in response to the recent RTA memos about air pressure gauges.

Dill manufactured air gauges and air chucks in the United States in the 1980s and 1990s and then, like most companies, in the early 2000s moved the product line offshore in order to remain price competitive.  In 2011 we decided that it would be best to begin manufacturing these parts once again in-house.  Quite frankly, we were as upset as your author at the inconsistency of gauges right out of the box.  Since we manufacture tire valve stems, valve cores, valve caps, and other fluid control components, we have the manufacturing capability.

The launch of the Dill USA-made air gauges and air chucks has been very successful.  The parts are accurate, reliable, and last much longer than anything else in the market.  We also produce a gauge check station to ensure the gauges you use are accurate.  Later this month we will be producing a truck service gauge in the US with a recalibration feature such that the user can make a minor adjustment should the gauge no longer be accurate.

Additionally, we offer screen printed gauges with a company's logo.  If you are going to promote your brand, why not ensure the part you are putting your logo on is of the utmost quality?

Thank you for reading my response.  My contact information is below should you require further information.  I have attached two product flyers as well.
