Dear friends and associates in the Retread, Tire and Rubber industries, and anyone who has worked with, or encountered this great man.

Harvey Brodsky needs your help and financial support, to get him through his ongoing medical expenses. Harvey's cancer has progressed to stage four. The medical bills are ongoing and have depleted the savings of both Harvey and his wife Rona (who has also been battling cancer).

As most of you know, our good friend Harvey has a been a bold champion and advocate for the tire retread industry, worldwide for over 40 years. Harvey has worked tirelessly, promoting retreaders, repair shops, tread rubber and tire manufacturers and industry associates for many, many years, and now he needs your help desperately.

As Managing Director of the Retread Tire Association, Harvey contributed greatly to furthering the cause of the retreading and tire repair and maintenance industries, continuing the work he did as Managing Director of TRIB for over 30 years, as well as earning the Tire Industry Association's (TIA) Hall of Fame Award in 2000.

Despite his non-stop, ardent and unwavering work representing, promoting, defending and legitimizing the retreading industry for 40 years, working 7 days a week, Harvey never received insurance benefits or a pension.

And now, his medical bills are astronomical, and Harvey needs the prayers, help, generosity and support of all of his Industry friends.

Harvey was diagnosed with stage four metastatic lung cancer earlier this year, and though he's been a trooper throughout the whole ordeal, the problems of his illness and medical expenses, and extreme bone pain are overwhelming to Harvey and Rona.

Along with living in chronic pain from a failed back operation, he has not felt his usual vigor and neither Harvey nor Rona can work.

Harvey is currently in and out of the hospital, receiving treatment and wearing his trademake smile and positive energy with all the pride and energy he has. Anyone who knows Harvey, knows that will never change.

Any contribution, no matter how small, is greatly appreciated and will go directly toward helping Harvey and Rona stay on track, and in their home during this very difficult time.
