THIS IS A FOLLOW UP
TO THE RTA NEWS YOU CAN USE MEMO SENT YESTERDAY

Hi Harvey,

If established tire companies such as Bridgestone ever wondered why their share of the global tire market is decreasing , they should consider investigating the obviously inexperienced and out of touch Public Relation people they employ.
The article that appeared in the African media from van Niekerk clearly indicates that by using the term ' scrubbing away any remaining tread ' shows that person is an outsider to the industry and in future should have all press releases approved by someone who is familiar with retreading.

I would be sure Bandag who is owned by Bridgestone in Australia would be able to assist with the correct terminology .

Harvey, I would be happy if you used my comments and no doubt Bridgestone are advertising for a replacement PR employee.

Regards,
Peter Makepeace
