THE REVOLUTION IN CURING OF RETREADED TYRES.

Italmatic Group, answering the demand of the most important brands of the industry, manufactured innovative hot curing systems (vulcanizing machines and moulds), assuring a high quality of retreaded tyres.

The challenge.
Our most important customers asked us to design technologically advanced presses and moulds, allowing a precise and continuous control of all process variables, suitable to the production of the most important treads and of retreaded tyres with higher quality, without missing an accurate evaluation of energy consumption. 

The design.
Met the challenge, our team of designers immediately started working, basing themselves on the experience gained in by now over 50 years of activity at the base of the manufacture of all of our products and applying all most modern materials and latest technologies available in the market.

The aim of the study was to design new systems future-oriented, answering to the following requirements: innovation, toughness, precision, versatility, ergonomics, productivity, reliability, safety, energy saving and not the least sustainability. 

THE RESULT
The result of this huge work was the launch of the new line of curing machines EVOMATIC and of two new lines of moulds HQ and PREMIUM.

EVOMATIC
This revolutionary curing machine, thanks to its very tough frame (weight +\- 9.000kg), studied by the most modern software for mechanical designing and manufactured by very high precision numerical control machineries, assures a perfect alignment of all reference points of the mould. 

Its power, given by an oil dynamic system able to generate a stroke up to 40 tons, assures an irreversible closure of the mould and an almost total reduction of burrs.

The special closing kinematism with automatic alignment and continuous recovery of wears, ensures that all parts of the mould (segments and bead plates), during the curing phase, are always perfectly coinciding, even in the presence of different thermal expansions referred to the mould.

Moreover, other innovative features like the differentiated speed, slower in the penetration and extraction phase of the mould towards the tyre, the automatic centering of the tyre before the total closure of the mould, the possibility to select and control parameters of the process (time, temperature and pressure) through recipes dedicated to each tyre, the possibility to manage different inflation modes (air, nitrogen, water, steam), the availability of versions with higher inflation pressures (up to 23Bar) and of versions with 8 or 12 segments, allow to reach very high quality standards of the retreaded tyre.

The platform for the operator, the loading arm, the tyre grip device, the hooking system of the upper bead plate, make these machines highly ergonomic. 

The crankcase, the intermediate cover, the mobile upper cover, the safety bumper, the two-hand drive, the compliance with safety rules for machines and EC certification, assure a high safety level.

The correct dimensioning of steam chambers, the special insulations by materials with high thermal insulation, the possible equipment with a special unit for electric generation of steam and recovery of condensations, besides the innovative system with heating by magnetic induction, assure these machines a high energy efficiency. 

This energy efficiency, together with the Lube-free system, which eliminates the use and dispersion in the environment of lubricating substances, certify a high degree of sustainability of this product.

The new series Evomatic is available with inflation systems with Bladder or Tbl or curing tube and with sizes suitable to all existing cylindrical moulds in segments. 

Within May 2024 also the EVOMATIC RING will be available, the last born of EVOMATIC family, configured on purpose for curing of ring tread bands.

All above mentioned features and the variety of possible configurations, declare the absolute versatility of EVOMATIC curing machines.

HQ moulds.
To the traditional line of moulds, to answer to the requirements of some Customers leader in this industry, ITALMATIC decided to flank other two lines of products allowing to improve further some features of the hot retreaded tyre. 

HQ line differs from the existing traditional one for a series of new production procedures studied to obtain lower dimensional tolerances and a higher thermal conductivity index. 

Premium moulds.
This third line of moulds, for production procedures and quality of materials, is comparable to moulds for new tyres.
