Women in Trucking Foundation Seeking Products/Services for Online Auction

Plover, WI— November 11, 2014: The Women in Trucking Foundation will host its first online holiday auction beginning on December 1, 2014. Proceeds will support the WIT Foundation by providing scholarships to women and men to begin or advance their careers in the trucking industry.

This will be a public auction in which anyone will be able to bid on the items. Auction items will consist of a variety of trucking industry products and services that appeal to all sectors of the industry. This is a great opportunity to support the WIT Foundation while doing your holiday shopping. If you have a product or service that could be auctioned, please contact Lana at lana@womenintrucking.org by November 24th.

"The Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)3 charitable organization. We depend on fundraising activities such as this to support our mission," said Jan Hamblin, WIT Foundation Board of Directors Chair. "This year we were able to award three scholarships to students entering the trucking industry. We would like to award twice as many scholarships in 2015," Hamblin added.
The auction will be open for two weeks, ending on December 15, 2014 at midnight Central Time.
