As you can imagine, we sometimes get a crackpot email,
and the one we received today takes the cake.
We present it without further comment.
It is shown below (almost) exactly as received.

Dear Sir,

I would like to enroll my miniature horse, Lucy Blessing Horsie Halpern F.O.E., as a Member In Good Standing (with 4 legs!) of RTA.  She rides on retreads in her HorseMobile. See the photo shown below.

Please inform us of the cost of her membership fees.  She is, of course of course, one of the biggest advocates of retreads and retreading but, on her behalf, and to point out what's fair, she asks that you please factor in that she should not pay the full rate a big horse or fully grown Yak would pay.  She runs a one (small) horse operation out of The I'm OK You're OK Corral.  She would also like her picture featured to serve as pictorial proof of the extent of her satisfaction, trust and advocacy of the use of retreads.

Thank you.  Lucy looks forward to being an active member of and advisor to RTA.  She knows everything about the industry, having listened to every one of your conversations and watched you intently through the window of your office.  She hears and sees all.  Should something (Heaven forbid) happen to you, she is ready and able to knowledgeably step in (with all 4 hooves) to assume your job duties as Managing Director of RTA.
