RTA member Tesco-Italmatic LLC has added a well known veteran of the industry, Mel Mitchell to the Tesco-Italmatic team. Mel has been appointed to the National Retread Accounts Sales Manager position and will be working out of Akron, Ohio.

Mel brings a wealth of knowledge and experience from his background since starting as a Fleet Specialist/ Retread Tech and Quality Assurance Tech Service Engineer with Goodyear in his early career as well as VP of manufacturing and marketing and retread plant manager in later years. Mel also serves on the board of the Tire Retread & Repair Information Bureau.
