Ivo Recap opens the biggest retreader in Latin America
New unit of Vipal Network's member has 20 thousand square feet and capacity of retreading 20 thousand tyres per month.

The biggest retreader in Latin America. This is definitely an achievement shared only by few companies. Ivo Recap, from Group Ivo, with headquarters in Paraná, can proudly bear this title. On August 28, the company, which is part of the Vipal Authorized Network, opened its new unit in the city of Campina Grande do Sul (Paraná) that displays the largest capacity of Latin America. The unit is capable of producing 20 thousand retreaded tyres per month (about 1.5 thousand tyres/day) and has 20 thousand square meters of land and 6 thousand of those as built area.
 
In the occasion, which gathered about 800 guests, presidents, directors and authorities attended the event, such as the Group Ivo's Ivo Moreno Ruy, Vipal Rubber's president Arlindo Paludo, Union of Industries of Rubber Artifacts of the State of Paraná - Sindbor/FIEP's president Josafat Kubrak, and others.
 
The new unit counts with a modern and large space that offers the most diverse types of services in the tyre retreading market, such as tyres for cargo transport, agricultural, OTR, and industrial applications. According to Adalberto Moreno, Ivo Recap's director, "Today we are certain that we offer retreading with the best global standards, both in terms of equipment and processes."
 
In his speech, the entrepreneur Arlindo Paludo congratulated the directors and the partner company's team. "The long path of over 62 years of success of Ivo Recap is very similar to that of Vipal," said he, referring, among other aspects, to his father's entrepreneurship, Mr. Ivo Moreno Ruy, pioneer of Ivo Recap.
 
Moreno ratifies the importance of partnership with Latin America's leader and one of the world's biggest manufacturers of tyre retreading products. He highlights that, without Vipal, the project of a new unit with such dimensions and concept would not exist. "Vipal Rubber, as a company that is a global reference, had to be the one to support us given our long years of partnership".
 
About Group Ivo
The entrepreneur Ivo Moreno Ruy founded the company in 1952 in the city of Alto Paraná and its activities began with a tyre repair shop and tyre vulcanization. Throughout the years, the company incorporated other companies and increased its production capacity.
