Here are some tributes to Marvin from RTA members:
I have just read the sad news of the passing of Marvin Bozarth. A great loss indeed.
I was actually introduced to Marvin the first time by Harvey Brodsky during one of the early ARA Shows in Louisville. He and his family impressed me greatly right away. I am not sure of the contact details of either Donna or Tina and shall be very grateful if you could express to them and the family in my name, my deepest condolences.
Next week I am attending the ITEC Show in Akron and I was hoping to see him there. I am a featured speaker at the event and intend to mention a few words in Marvin's memory. He was one of the people who sometimes indirectly, had a great affect on my life.
Best regards,

Very sorry to hear of Marvin's passing. He was always a terrific speaker and I enjoyed our one-on-one conversations way back in Louisville days during the 80's, 90's and up until 2002 or 3 when the ITRA ended the retread conferences.
Back in the late 80's, when I was new in the recycling sector, both Marvin and Harvey took the time to speak with me, the young guy just starting out. Speaking with the Giants of the retread industry made my days perfect back then. I learned from both what makes a great retread tire and how to operate a safe retread shop. I was able to apply that knowledge to the companies I consulted with in the recycling industry and I believe what they both taught me may have saved a life or two with guys working around the big shredding equipment.
Like Harvey, I will miss Marvin. He was a warm wonderful guy, always concerned about worker safety and the image of the retread industry. Marvin was always advancing industry acceptance to the next level. He was a Great guy and will be missed by the industry he loved.

I hear this with a heavy heart! I am at a loss for the right words.
There is a saying that goes something like this, Many great people come and go, many do great things and leave their mark, but this person made a difference in so many people's lives. His character was to be a helping hand to everyone who needed help in finding direction.
He was a wealth of knowledge, self taught by being involved at every step of every part of the process.
I wish I had the words to do him justice. He will be missed. Your friend Tom.

From Spain, we have received with immense sadness the news about the death of Mr. Marvin, but at the same time we know he is surely now in a better place with the Father. And from heaven, he will continue working to protect the retreading industry.
Those of us who got to meet Mr. Marvin realized that he was a Good person, and he will always be present in my prayers.
Rest in peace. All my love and affection to his family.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
"Our country is not the only thing
to which we owe our allegiance.
It is also owed to justice and to humanity.
Patriotism consists not in waving the flag,
but in striving that our country shall be
righteous as well as strong."
~ James Bryce
